CITY OF ALLEN FIRE STATION 5

$3,000,000 | 10,539 SQ FT | ARCHITECT: PRO-FORMA ARCHITECTURE

Pogue Construction delivered Fire Station #5 for the City of Allen, a 10,500-square-foot facility designed to set a benchmark for sustainability. Certified LEED Platinum by the U.S. Green Building Council, the station incorporates advanced green features such as a geothermal HVAC system, automated daylight harvesting, and a 30,000-gallon rainwater collection system. Its signature inverted “butterfly roof” maximizes natural light and supports rainwater harvesting for irrigation and equipment washing. Designed to accommodate eight firefighters, the three-bay station serves as both a functional fire facility and an educational tool for sustainable building practices.
