Anna Chenier brings a diverse background in communications, education, and systems development to her role at Pogue Construction, joining the team in 2026. A native of Rogers, Arkansas, Anna graduated summa cum laude from the University of Arkansas with dual degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Public Relations, along with a minor in Honors Interdisciplinary Studies.
Anna’s professional journey began in public education before transitioning into the architecture industry with PBK Architects. Over eight years, she led the firm’s Bond Planning and Campaign Communications division, partnering closely with K–12 superintendents, higher education leaders, and their teams to support community bond planning efforts and communicate funding initiatives to key stakeholders.
She later expanded her expertise into the commercial HVAC sector, where she spent four years working directly with building owners and operators—primarily in K–12 and higher education—to deliver turnkey heating and cooling solutions that improved facility performance and occupant comfort.
Now based in Houston, Anna remains actively involved in the industry as a Corporate Representative on the Board of the Texas Energy Management Alliance (TEMA). In 2026, she was recognized as TEMA’s Partner of the Year for her meaningful contributions to the organization and the broader industry. A proud Astros fan, Anna enjoys staying active, attending live music events, traveling, and reading, while spending quality time with her spouse, Peter Saker, RA, stepdaughter Scarlett, and loved ones.
