Pogue Construction is the selected General Contractor for this project, which consists of a 28,000 SF Auditorium and Band Hall Addition to the existing Aubrey High School.  The Auditorium has a capacity of approximately 700 seats and will be equipped with state-of-the-art curtains, rigging and controls systems, theatrical lighting and A/V systems.  The Addition also includes a new Band Hall equipped with musical storage equipment, A/V and acoustical systems.  The new building addition includes a new slab on grade foundation supported by straight shaft drilled piers and grade beams.  The building superstructure is composed of structural steel, load-bearing and non-load bearing CMU and cold-formed metal framing.  The addition’s façade is composed of face brick, curtain wall, storefront and metal panels.  Tentative schedule is a mid-December 2020 start with a substantial completion of January 2022.
