    The IT Field Technician will focus on providing technical support across various job sites, ensuring seamless IT operations in the field. This role involves setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting technology in job trailers, including computers, mobile devices, printers, networking equipment, and other IT systems. The technician will handle IT requests via phone, email, ticketing system, or in person, delivering practical solutions tailored to the needs of construction teams.     • Job Trailer Technology Setup:

    Configure and install required tech equipment for new job trailers, including audio/video systems for conference rooms, local printers, desk setups, and 5G hotspots or ISP-provided internet connections.

    • Equipment Procurement and Standardization:

    Manage incoming tickets and emails to coordinate the ordering of job trailer equipment in alignment with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) based on trailer size and project requirements.

    Summary:The Virtual Design Construction Engineer will provide Building Information Modeling (BIM) administration/coordination and Virtual Design Construction (VDC) services to assigned projects and will help assist other departments with VDC needs. This position will be responsible for providing models and documents, VDC/BIM technical support, and coordinating 3D content modeled by others. All activities will be performed in support of the vision and values of Pogue Construction.

    Experience: 3-4 years construction or related experience; 3-4 years BIM-related experience.
    Education: Bachelor’s degree in a construction-related field. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, relevant experience will be considered.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Provide models and documentation that is essential to complete VDC/BIM scope of work as determined by leadership and project management teams.
    • Maintain VDC/BIM standards and manage their implementation.
    • Create 3D modeling content that has not been provided and compile any trade partner models.

    • Work with design teams during the preconstruction phases to mitigate future issues.
    • Train field teams and other Pogue staff on VDC process and technology.
    • Have the capability to research and develop new tools and processes for the construction project lifecycle.

    Required Skills/Expectations:

    • Communication skills; both verbal and written
    • Perform work accurately in a timely manner
    • Proficiency in MS Office
    • Knowledge of construction practices
    • Knowledge of MEP systems
    • Ability to understand drawings and specifications
    • Ability to kickoff and maintain BIM coordination efforts on projects
    • Knowledge of VDC/BIM technologies and processes and be able to apply them to projects
    • Ability to collaborate with different teams and organizations for project success
    • Knowledge of VDC/BIM technology solutions including:
      • Autodesk Construction Cloud
      • BIM 360
      • Autodesk Revit
      • Autodesk AutoCAD
      • Autodesk Navisworks Manage
      • Fuzor or Synchro
      • Bluebeam
