Pogue Construction working as the selected Construction Manager at Risk for Willis ISD will be receiving proposals for multiple project across two packages.

PACKAGE B – LYNN LUCAS MIDDLE SCHOOL will involve construction of an approximately 40,000 sf additions to the middle school that includes 30,000sf at the science and classroom wing, 5000sf of courtyard and 10,000sf at band area. Construction of drives, site utilities, and storm detention as it relates to the addition.  Demolition of existing infrastructure and metal building to locate the new science wing. Reworking the tie-ins to the existing building for roof drainage at the band area additions.

PACKAGE C ELEMENTARY SCHOOL GYM ADDITIONS will involve construction of an approximately 4,500 sf each new gymnasium and support room additions to four Elementary School Campuses. Two of the schools are within City of Willis (Edward B. Cannan & Mel Parmley) jurisdiction and two are within City of Conroe (A.R. Turner and W. Llyoy Meador) Jurisdiction. Construction of sidewalks, site utilities, and storm detention as it relates to these additions.

A Pre-Bid for both projects will be held at the Lynn Lucas Middle School beginning at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, May 18, 2021, in room [TBD].  Attendance is highly encouraged by an administrative representative of the company or corporation submitting a bid as a Sub-contractor for the following work; Earthwork, Utilities, Concrete, Structural Steel, Masonry, Roofing, Storefront, Paint, Drywall and Acoustical, Fire Suppression, HVAC, HVAC Controls, Plumbing, Electrical, and Media Systems.

 Pogue Construction is the selected General Contractor for this project. This project consists of track replacements at Creek Valley Middle School, Durham Middle School, and Lakeview Middle School.

The project consists of approximately 2,600 square feet of major renovation and approximately 10,200 square feet of minor renovation. Some areas of minor renovation will be occupied for much of the project.

The major renovated area consist of removal of all finishes, the floor slab, removal of some sub-grade soil, installing a micro pile system to support a new slab on void floor system. The major renovated area includes replacing the finishes and systems in the existing locker rooms and briefing area.

The areas of minor renovation include renovation of finishes and some systems in office areas.
